Compatibility of wireless app installation on iOS devices
Wireless installation of apps on iOS devices should work starting from iOS 4.0+ on all iPhones, iPads and iPod touches.
Installation is only possible using Safari. No other standalone browser (Chrome, Firefox, ...) or in-app browser (webviews inside apps like Facebook, Gmail, Messenger, ...) can initiate the installation process.
When opening a Diawi link from an in-app webview, the installation will not start. To work around this, tap the Safari or share icon to open the link in Safari, or copy and paste the URL into Safari manually.
